Sheldon Campbell – Cowboy Mustering Cattle

Sheldon is an exciting emerging young artist who commenced wire sculpture in 2023 learning from his uncle renowned Titjikala artist, David Wallace. Sheldon forms all sorts of desert animals and characters from recycled metal found at the rubbish tip. Sheldon uses any found metal; wire, copper, fabrics and any discarded materials that he can recycle. Old rusty wires form the base structure of the work which is completed with upper layers of fine newer wire and discarded fabrics for a better finish and colours. Sheldon lives in Finke with his wife Anne-Marie and son, Gavin.
